Refund Policy

Overview

This policy covers refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling for assessment services provided by Portalhemlockway Mining Review Co., Ltd. It applies to container deployment assessments, cooling and airflow reviews, and pre-purchase consultations.

Deposit and Payment Structure

A 40% deposit is required to confirm your scheduled assessment date. The remaining 60% balance is due upon delivery of the written report or consultation summary. All payments are made via bank transfer in KRW.

Full Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund of amounts paid if:

• We cancel the assessment due to technician unavailability and cannot reschedule within 30 days of your original date
• We fail to deliver the agreed report or consultation summary within 10 business days of the committed delivery date, without prior written agreement to an extension

Partial Refund Eligibility

A partial refund may be issued when:

• You cancel more than 14 days before the scheduled on-site visit: full deposit refund minus a ₩150,000 administrative fee
• You cancel between 7 and 14 days before the visit: 50% of the deposit refunded
• The on-site assessment is completed but you dispute specific report findings: we will conduct one complimentary review of disputed measurements. If our original measurements are confirmed accurate, no refund is issued for the disputed section

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

• Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before a scheduled on-site visit (deposit forfeited)
• Travel fees already incurred for sites outside Chungcheong province
• Pre-purchase consultations after the 90-minute session has been conducted and the written summary delivered
• No-shows: if our technician arrives at the agreed site and cannot gain access, the visit is charged at full rate

Cancellation by Client

To cancel, email info@portalhemlockway.click with your booking reference and preferred cancellation date. Cancellations are effective upon our written confirmation.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted if requested more than 7 days before the original date. Additional reschedules incur a ₩100,000 fee. Rescheduling requests made fewer than 7 days before the visit are treated as cancellations under the rules above.

Work Already Started

If on-site work has begun — defined as the technician commencing measurements at your site — the deposit is non-refundable regardless of subsequent cancellation. Partial on-site work is charged proportionally based on days completed versus total scoped days.

Purchased Materials

We do not sell physical products or mining hardware. No material purchase refunds apply.

Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days via bank transfer to the original payment account. You will receive email confirmation when the refund is initiated.
